# Tiles Privacy

Privacy for everyone.

## Mission
Tiles Privacy Initiative exists to advance public education, research, and open-source development of Human-Scale AI systems: AI that is small, intentional, and tailored to the needs of people and communities.
It explores approaches that enable AI to run locally, protect personal data, operate with limited compute or connectivity, and advance digital sovereignty by giving individuals and communities meaningful ownership and control over their data, identity, and computing.
Tiles Privacy is open for consulting projects in this area, especially privacy-preserving products built with decentralized technologies like Iroh, DID/UCANs, AT Protocol, and local AI models.
Tiles Privacy is a signatory to the European Social Stack initiative, supporting an open, interoperable, and publicly accountable digital ecosystem for Europe.
